I have not posted in this forum for a while. Just wanted to say that I am extremely disappointed in the new Beretta 92X. It has serious QC problems. I cannot fire a round without a stovepipe. The slide does not lock open on the last round.
I have owned several 92 Series over the years. This is the latest; made in Tennessee. I will tell you I will NEVER buy a Beretta again. As soon as this one gets back from the factory repair facility, it will be sold or traded ASAP.
I was issued the M9 in the Army. Never had any problems. This is extremely disappointing.
I own several Canik pistols that put the Beretta to shame. They cost me much less than the Beretta. Pretty sad that a Turkish made firearm completely outclasses a Beretta.
After experiencing my issues with the 92, I read that this is a common problem. I guess I should have read about it before buying. But then, since I have owned probably five other 92s over the years that were great guns, who knew?
Buyer Beware.
