Excellent! And a decline for Gunbroker mag prices? Nervous sellers?

This might not influence any Hungarian Tanker (AK) prices to any noticeable extent, but the sudden feeling of Schadenfreude leaves me with no guilt. None at all.

Just like the more AR's in this country the harder it is for them to take them; the same can be considered about STANDARD capacity magazines in California.

Of course the 20% off is probably still more than the non branded mec gar mags, but still an awesome gesture.
For a firearms manufacturer to take such a supportive stance at this "legal" point is gutsy and I applaud and thank Beretta USA for their decision.

Since Friday's ruling and judgement, many online vendors have sold out of all popular normal/standard capacity "arms"/magazines and since some have been resupplied gradually at same/higher prices. I am sure MagPul and many other manufacturers went to 24/7 operation since Friday to ramp up production to meet the demand of millions of CA gun owners.

Active listing of vendors shipping magazines to CA - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LP1NCp0MjBoeDp6tc6ddb2dKKIAdqxU0qubnEANW4dc/edit#gid=0

There have been upbeat chatter on online forums of many vendors becoming millionaires due to Friday's ruling alone and Chuck Michel of CRPA/NRA hinted vendors benefiting to make donation to CRPA/NRA
Chuck Michel/CRPA said:
Please donate to the CRPA Foundation to help support pro 2A litigation in California ... Dealers selling mags to your new customer base, are you listening?

Many vendors' website crashed due to extraordinary volume and PSA sold out of essentially all "arms"/magazines over the weekend but their website has been restocked with magazines again - https://palmettostatearmory.com/accessories/magazines.html

Brownell's ran one day 10% off promotion after Friday's ruling and ran below announcement - https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2...-magazines-to-california-as-fast-as-possible/

And currently running 10 MagPul mags for $99.99 to help flood CA with "arms"/magazines - https://www.brownells.com/magazines...=Avantlink&utm_content=NA&utm_campaign=Itwine

Stay on the injunction takes effect Friday at 17:00
Maybe not - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/happy-days-in-ca.849757/page-2#post-11098488

Let's not forget, " Chuck Michel: State has also filed its Notice of Appeal"

So say at 5:00 PM Friay, could judge Benitez extend the start of partial stay based on the appeal filed by CRPA/NRA? ;)
It would not be unheard of to extend the start of the stay until the appeal could be heard on the matter

A circuit court can overrule a district court. A circuit court can modify or stay an injunction pending appeal from a district court decision. If the 9th circuit is the one staying the injunction pending the appeal, Judge Benitez cannot overrule them from below (underrule?).

Have lawsuits been filed in Other states to try to remove unreasonable magazine capacity limits?
Yes - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...lated-information.849620/page-4#post-11105886

(4/9/19) FAIRFAX, Va.– With assistance from the NRA, Pittsburgh residents filed a lawsuit today challenging the city’s ban on publicly carrying loaded magazines that accept more than 10 rounds of ammunition - https://www.nraila.org/articles/201...-challenge-ban-on-standard-capacity-magazines

"Pittsburgh’s recently enacted ordinance misleadingly describes these magazines as 'large capacity' even though they come standard with many of the nation’s most popular firearms and are commonly used in handguns carried for self-defense.

'Pittsburgh residents have a right to carry the self-defense tool that best suits their needs and the NRA is proud to support this challenge to the city’s magazine ban,' said Chris W. Cox, executive director, National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action. 'Restricting law-abiding citizens from exercising their constitutional rights will do nothing to stop violent criminals.'

'Pennsylvania law is very clear that the power to regulate firearms is the exclusive province of the General Assembly, not local governments,' said David Thompson, an attorney for the plaintiffs. 'Pennsylvania courts have repeatedly struck down Pittsburgh ordinances that attempted to regulate firearms in defiance of state law, and we are confident that this latest ordinance will meet the same fate.'

The case is Anderson v. City of Pittsburgh and was filed earlier today in the Allegheny Court of Common Pleas."
