Hi everybody, first post here though I have visited the site off and on for a little while as a non-member. Anyway, I've got a Beretta Cougar Inox in 9mm and I was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark value on it. I haven't seen one on gunbroker or auctionarms for a long time, so I don't know if people who have them are hoarding them right now? Are they going up in value or is now a good time to sell with the manufacturing shifting over to Stoeger?

Too pretty of a gun to shoot a lot cause I want to keep it in good shape, and I have a hard time justifying keeping it as a "safe queen". Possibly wanting to trade up to a Sig 220 or a Springfield 1911 . . .

Thanks for any help.

Considering the rarity of the Cougar in general, I think you could get as much as $650 for the Inox version.

Beretta made only a relatively small number of the Cougars in stainless...

I think that I read somewhere that it was about 700, but I may be just making that number up...:)

I have a Beretta Cougar 8000F Inox in 9x19mmP, and it's just about my favorite handgun (tied with a Steyr M9-A1) at the moment.

The stainless version is even more attractive than the blued version, and it's a great shooter (with the grip feeling just about perfect to me).

Keep the Inox. You'll kick yourself in the future for getting rid of it if you don't...

:)
