Indiana...born and raised in Indianapolis (13th largest city). Good lax gun laws. CC in bars (no drink). OC allowed. The winters can be extremely brutal
North Carolina...currently live in Charlotte (one of the fastest growing cities in America). Decent gun laws. Required to take an 8hr class to get your CCW. OC allowed without permit. In Charlotte, I am 3 hours from the mountains and 3 hours from the beach (Atlantic Ocean). I'm married, but if I was a single guy, I would be in Charlotte or Atlanta
Kentucky...went to college there. Gun laws are good (for gun carriers). Not a lot of options for "big city living" besides Louisville (which is only considered as large as it is because the city has annexed all of Jefferson county)
Tennessee...lots of family there. Almost moved there instead of Charlotte. Decent gun laws. Nashville is a fun city...another "young man's paradise". Memphis is a great place to party, but I wouldn't want to live there.
Missouri...ehhh, not bad. Gun laws are excellent, but St Louis has seen better days. I'm not a big fan of Kansas City
Texas...besides the OC law, they aren't bad. Depending on where you live, it can get ridiculously hot or cold.
