OK, I'll play...
I have an OLD Marlin 99...just plain 99, not 99A/B/C. I don't even know how many 10,000's of rounds have gone through that one. About every other year or so, I'll take the action out of the stock, dunk it in mineral spirits, give the barrel a good scrub, etc. Like that 'battery rabbit', just keeps going...going..going.
Had a Nylon 66 as a kid...shot all .22 ammo about the same, EXCEPT for the Rem 'Golden Bullet' HP. Choked on that ammo every time. Go figure that one...a Remmy Rifle that hated Remmy ammo.
Also have a 40th Year edition 10/22, with several of the Butler Creek 25-round Hot Lips magazines. Again, this rifle shoots anything I feed it, but it seems to like the CCI Mini-Mag solids the best. Even shoots the super-cheap (quailty-wise) Remmy Thunderbolts OK. I have not trried any of the so-called "Match" ammo.
I never owned one, but several folks I know have or have had the Remmy "Speedmaster" [or was it the Fieldmaster?? I forget which was the pump vs. autoloader]. 21 rounds of .22Short in the magazine. Lots of shots before reloading.
