I had one exactly like it at 15; My Dad gave it to me when he bought his Pythons to replace it and his S&W 49 as duty and off-duty guns, respectively. It was a great shooter, I even hit a flying grouse with it.Walkalong, that's a fine looking Trooper along with a fine looking target. I almost bought a Trooper as a youngster, wishing I had succumbed to the urge.
I know how that works. Ha, my attention span gets taxed by the time I hit 10 shots or less. Excellent shooting BTW.Guess which shot was #20? Couldn't stand prosperity and got a bit over confident on the last shot.
That's excellent with a TRS-25. I own 2 and believe them to be the best value red dot out there. A group like that, you must have your dot at 2 or 3 power. Very cool rig.Same gun as in post #32, but after being turned into a carbine and using a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot.

Handy looking little rifle. How do you like the forward mounted red dot?

It worked well enough, but I missed having the magnification to see small targets past 50 yards. That rifle now wears a Weaver 4x28 scout scope.
How about a little traditional black powder?
.
I still need to start developing a load with the fire formed brass.
