50rds - 9mm Winchester Ranger Bonded HP 147gr ZRA9B $22.95 If you buy oin bulk it gets down to $19.50.

The "blemmish" Winchester Bonded works just as good as the regular. I have tested fifty rounds in my CZ and it all worked as advertised. I tested a few rounds for expansion and penetration. They all performed exactly like Winchester says they should. For the money it really is hard to find a better deal on SD ammo.

I carry them everyday.

I don't know of one LEO agency that carries 115gr 9mm anymore. The 124gr+p and 147g weights are most common. With the 147gr Ranger Bonded from Winchester getting 15"+ of penetration and .56" of expansion, you should be fine.

The only 115gr 9mm round still being recomended by most "experts" is the Barnes all copper bullet. It is most commonly found in the Corbon DPX loading. At nearly $30 for 20 it is not cheap.

Cor-bon or hornaday sxt, getthe JHP with the ball or rubber point in the HP. This way you avoid feeding problems while still having a top notch man stopper. I carry 2 mags one with HP and one with FMJ's. If the shooter is behind a metal door or car door, I can switch if need be to penetrate the cover better than with a HP round. But do your homework and shoot all of the ones you think you are interested in. Don't just assume it will work because it's a couple bucks a round. every ramp angle etc is a little different. I fired 14 rounds of hydroshocks through my R1 last trip, because that's all I had on me, they worked perfectlly, 1 inch group at 30 ft. I will still need a full box to make sure next time, but was happy to dee the gun fed the way I had read it would. The 5 inch really made a difference in accuracy compared to the short "under 4" barrels I am used to carrying. It's just a big gun.

Hornady critical defense is my round of choice. You should have any feeding problems with it. It's 24 dollars for a box of 25. Well worth the money imho.
