While my site is down, I'll just post here:
attachment.php

Might work better if I had a picture of a kid behind a barred window, but the photo was meant as an illustration of the viewer's neighborhood, the better way.

It should read "some build homes with iron bars on the windows"

I think "Let the criminals live in fear" would be better than "leave fear to the criminals"

Nice photos and layout, as usual.

"People fearing home invasions turn their own homes into jails with iron bars on their doors and windows,

but there is a better way.

Leave fear to the criminals."

Incidentally, how many shells can you fit into that thing?

Pretty good, but I'd have gone with a "normal" HD shottie (non-tricked out 18.5" 870, 1300 Defender, or 500).

Not sure just how, but if you could cut the verbage down to 2 lines it would flow a bit better. Maybe instead of the top lines have some visual choice between the bars and the shotgun showing the shotgun as the prefered option with the "Leave Fear to the Criminals" as the conclusion. Regardless, it's better than I could have come up with.

"Leave fear to the criminals". That's about right. And I'm recalling the sayings about "beware the man with a well worn gun" because that 870- as far as metal finish goes- looks like it's seen some action.

I agree about the 870 not being tricked out.

I think middy is on to something here.... how about....

Some people build homes with iron bars on the windows because they live in fear. But there is a better way....

Let the criminals live in fear!

I will play with the wording (the original version mentioned "imprisoning their families behind windows with iron bars"). Will make it shorter and simpler over the weekend.

Madmike's 870, ask him the tech details.

I work in a prison - I don't want to come home to one. Not a slogan, just truth. I like the idea, verbage just needs slight tweak. Oleg, you rock, again!
I kinda like the shotgun - nifty stock setup.

That shotgun looks sweet. Any idea how to get one? Looks like it can hold more than 4 or 5 shells too.

That shotgun is too fancy. The sight, the buttstock, the pistol grip. Most of all, that magazine.

Oleg,

So, where is the front sling swivel? :neener:

I think it would be more effective with a less tactical looking shotgun, something closer to what most people have.

Like all of your work, I like all of your work. :)

While I respect and like what you have posted...
You have access to a BAR?

When homes have BARs - criminals are barred.

I share this like and respect and also think the BAR-based poster would be a good idea.

My old man said that the BAR was effective, but the germans would shoot at you. He liked the Garand. PING :)

M99M12, My Granddaddy was a BARman too. He said the same things about the Japs. He said he put the BAR down first chance he got and got a Garand.

I changed the text considerably, will play with the original idea later.

Oleg,

This is my first opportunity to view your work. Very nice. I like the phrase, "Leave Fear to the Criminals", don't lose that. Try to link it to a guy's duty to defend his home.

If you can take an impromptu thought, how about the following?

"This is my home. The line is drawn here. I leave fear to the criminals."

John

Some people think iron bars will stop a criminal from breaking in.

Lead is a better deterrent.
