Bought a gun this year yet?

Still paying for the last of the guns I bought last year...:D

And an old lady bought a beautiful old LAPD-engraved 60 Chief's Special while I was hemming and hawing over whether to buy it. Oh well, she needs it more than me. The trigger was really light and smooth; obviously had been worked, and by someone who knew what he was doing. She apparently couldn't pull a DA trigger on most other guns due to arthritis.

Still, though, it was a beauty.:)
 
I'm afraid so. I was hoping to make it until at least February before I fell, but today a S&W 642 followed me home................my wife was in the gun store with me, just egging me on :neener:. I'm a lucky man!

i got lucky. it's straight and goes bang everytime i pull the trigger.:neener:
 
Yes, I have. I picked up a CZ-82 at a gunshow last Sunday. I've only put 150 rounds through it so far, but I'm quite impressed by it.

I have the cash.... and would love to add to my little collection, but I can't figure out what I would buy that wouldn't be frivelous and filling a need that isn't already filled with my other guns.

Only thing I can think of is a Kahr PM40 or MK40.
 
Sounds like you are racking up a glock collection. When is glock going to come out with a buy one get 19 free deal?

Congrats and hope you enjoy it. All you makin' me jealous as I didn't get anything or even use anything yet this year. That sounds horrible! I haven't shot a gun ALL YEAR! I'll have to change that tomorrow. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

well, that is an EASY one! Flip open Gun Cartridges of the World, first one you dont have anything in..ehhh..you have the cash...all the ones you don't have anything chambered in, order!
 
Not yet. After these bills and stuff I'm going to be living for FREE for the next 6-12 months, so I'm making a list.

DPMS AP4 Carbine
Mossberg 930 SPX
Lots and lots of high cap AK, AR, and various handgun mags.

All basically in potential fear of our next president.
 
Yup. Brought home a couple saiga 12s, a 10-22, a winchester model 70 XTR 30-06, and I FINALLY found my marlin lever action in 41 mag.

Now I'm certifiably BROKE. But I'm grinning ear to ear.
 
I picked up a Mossberg 590 yesterday at the at the Roanoke Valley gun show. While I'm sitting there doing the paperwork, the guy sitting next to me was just humming away, happy as a clam at high tide. "Did you get something?" I asked. "Yep" he said, "it's right over there."

The guy pointed to a 50 caliber machine gun that looked like it was every bit of five feet long.

"Where in the hell are you going to shoot that thing?" I asked. He replied "I've set up a range that's a mile long on my property. Where I live, the neighbors will never even hear it."

I could only shake my head in amazement and wish him well as he left.
 
Kind of suppose.

I bought a Ruger GP100 the last week of december but won't be able to actually pick it up from my FFL till Monday.

I also put down 50% on a Taurus Tracker .22 order about four weeks ago (the guy at the shop said it should take about 3 days to get one).......a month has gone by and they still haven't been able to get one in.
