Brady Bunch on Facebook?

We'll see how many of my post's get posted, but I'm enjoying lighting those folks up, they are idiots, to put it politely. They'd gladly give up the 2nd Amendment, then they must be willing to give up the 1st, 4th, 5th, and the rest of them. Without the 2nd, there aren't any.

Gary Austin "I'm afraid of guns. I don't own one. I fear that if I had one I would use it. In my ideal world the only guns would be staple guns for the sole purpose of stapling Lost Dog posters to telephone poles."

Holophobe much?

I couldn't refrain myself. I had to post a comment on the ammendment to reinstate concealed carry in our National parks. They were all a twitter over there, and I posted this.

I'm sorry, but I can't for the life of me understand why some people are so hoplophobic on this issue. The mere presence of a firearm carried by a responsible law abiding citizen is no more of a danger to others than is a responsible citizen driving a Ferarri capable of going 180 mph. Unless and until said person commits an unlawful act with either inanimate object, there is no danger posed to anyone at all.
Perhaps with the same logic as some of you put forth here, we should require all male park goers to submit to castration. After all, we sure wouldn't want a bunch of people armed for rape running amok in our parks, would we? It's just a matter of time until a rape occurs.
If you can't see the comparable silliness of that arguement with yours of not allowing lawful citizens to exercise their 2nd Ammendment rights, then you are either hopelessly naive, or willingly cognitively dissonant.

I like this one

Yay for the "Good Guys" in the Brady Campaign.. yes guns have their place.. and NO there is no place for automatic/semi-automatic and shoulder mounted rocket launchers in the hands of citizens.

Product of the brainwashing by the MSM

I saw we give up all our guns and then the brady's would get shut down cause there wouldn't be free speech anymore. Ironic isn't it? We have the right to keep the arms that guarantee's their rights to be against the arms.

The lack of critical thinking there is astonishing. I like this one:

I'm in favor of overturning the Second Amendment if that's the reason we can't get rid of unnecessary guns in this country. All we ever hear from the NRA and their right-wing followers is SECOND AMENDMENT. I'll gladly give up my second amendment rights if that's going to keep me (and millions of others) from being killed by a firearm.

LMAO, I got kicked out after about 3 post's, telling those folks how full of s*** they are. Now my post's have been deleted and I can no longer comment, lmao!

Its funny in one way, very pathetic in another. These people aren't willing to have an honest debate, because they can't!

frustrating... very frustrating...

just read a comment on there
Last month a friend of mine was shot, if he had had a gun to defend himself, other people could have gotten hurt too. It’s a never ending cycle of violence in this country, when will it ever stop?
I am glad my friend did not have a gun to defend himself? that is sad.

The Second Amendment fan club on FaceBook.

13,269 fans.

Just thought I'd add that here.

I can't comment on the BB pages as I'm trying to hild my dinner down after only the first few comments over there.

They didn't even post my comment. In a way that tells me I hit a nerve. It also tells me that I won that debate. What a sorry bunch they are. What a bunch of sorry sheep.

Rockwell1 and whomever else was wondering, (sorry I was busy for the weekend,) run a search for 1911, Sig P228, etc. Someone has set up a page for all of them.

A sampling of my fan pages, Weber State Gun Club, National Rifle Association of America (NRA) -- Official Group, STOP The Ammunition Accountability Act, Equal Rights for America's Gun Owners, 1911 Owners of America, Remington gun owners, you get the idea.

As soon as I did these, I also invited all of my gun friends to do the same, they all found pages for their carry guns. One of them just got back from the NRA convention, I need to take him out to late breakfast at Denny's soon for stories and pictures.

I have never seen so many ignorant people who believe their own bull.

There is absolutly no room for debate. They make a statement and believe it as fact:what:

Well, I joined the NRA club on FB a couple nights ago. Since then I've had 12 friends join, or roughly one friend every 4 hours.

Nice :)

Ya know, it is funny that they want to ban other things than guns...my father wired houses, and i helped him when we built our own. A staple gun is VERY important to electricians. (not to mention other people who use it in their jobs)

But i guess it is kinda pointless to point out the stupidity to you guys...;) :D

The people on there are sheep because they actually believe that they are reading a reasoned debate on the issue. That site does not allow any negative postings. Pravda would be proud.

what a bunch of dips

I posted a simple comment about why is it reckless to allow carry in national parks and was blasted by the next poster. I was told that I must be "simple minded" and that a child had more common sense than I did.
I told the poster that he didn't know me and that his retort was uncalled for. I indicated that he must have serious issues.
Since that point, my comments were deleted and now I cannot comment about any item they post.
I finally hid their posts and said to h*ll with them. There is no room for discussion with them. They only want to spew their side and will not listen to any other discussion.

Were you asking why they found it to be wreckless?

They only want to spew their side and will not listen to any other discussion.

You got it.

The difference is that most gun owners are pretty open minded, some gun owners are even for a lot of gun control.

Anti gun people are coming from a totally irrational place and they are nearly all on the far extreme side.

There is no reasonable segment of that community, they are all on the ragged edge.

And the truth is, there are not that many of them. The membership numbers for the anti gun groups are pitiful. It is a few wealthy donors that keep all this mess flowing. There is no serious "grassroots" anti gun work being done. It wouldn't last a day.

retort

pt1911 yes, I was asking why they thought it was reckless. The statement that it was reckless by itself, left questions in my mind.
Most of what they have to say is not based in fact but is emotional.
