Browning X-bolt bottom metal

I know the mags for this rifle are polymer but what about the bottom metal surrounding the mag well. Is it also poly or metal?

It look like its made of some sort of alloy,its really light.

It's metal. Not sure exactly what though. My guess would be some sort of alloy.
