Ok, I decided to go with a Buckmark over the Sig Trailside.
Today a co-worker came in and mentioned the Beretta U22 Neos.
How doe the Buckmark and Neos compare?

I vote buckmark. WAY better trigger. Better grip angle. Better grips. Better sights. and did I say WAY better trigger?

One of my shooting buddies bought a Neos as a training pistol for his girl friend.
She likes it okay, but they both mentioned the trigger was very heavy.

I have shot one, I like the way it felt in my hand. Can't really compare the trigger to the Buckmark b/c I've never shot the Buckmark but, the one I shot the trigger didn't seem to be bad, but it had also been well broke in.

I own a buckmark, have shot a neos. I love berettas, but the buckmark has a better trigger, and I like the grip angle of the buckmark better as well.
Handle them both, but I vote for the buckmark.

The NEOS is a nice little gun, but the Buckmark fits my hand much better. I never had any issues at all with my NEOS, but the grip width and angle is only suitable for preschoolers and small-handed women.

I've got the Buckmark and its got a great trigger, the neos looks alone would keep me away from it....
Got about 600 flawless rds through the Buckmark.....drf

I love my NEOS. The trigger was tough at first, but I performed the trigger job (check Rimfire central) and it's a whole lot better now.

My wife has been looking for a gun for her. She is 4’9†and does have VERY small hands. She loves the buckmark, but has never had a gun fit her hands better than a NEOS. She doesn’t want to make the compromise and so we haven’t bought anything. She wants the Buckmark to magically fit her hands the way the NEOS does.

All the great Buckmark reviews don't help either.:banghead:

I chose my Buck Mark over the Neos based on the ergonomics of the grip frame, the way it felt when I fired it, and the way it felt 'solid' in my hand. I found my Buck Mark had a pretty decent trigger out of the box and I've not had any problems with it, although I'm under 1k rounds through it still. It even likes the Federal bulk pack .22lr's too.

<G> My wife is even still irritated with me for buying it. I changed my mind and bought it after I had declared I wasn't buying any guns that month.

Enjoy your Buck Mark.

Regards,
Rabbit.

Buckmark....
I like the ergos and trigger as mentioned above. I held a Neos...
Understand I'm a guy that still thinks the old Colt Woodsman and High Standards are the bees knees....

If you and the wife ever find / or get a chance to shoot a High Standard Duramatic ....she will go home with it. It ain't the prettiest gun...it does shoot, everytime, and works well for petitie hands. Same goes for a J frame sized Old Smith .22 revolver....

I don't really have a chance to handle both, most gun stores around here have limited supplies of guns to handle. I have had a chance to look at the Buckmark and a Trailside but not a Neos.
Thanks for all the replies. It looks like there'll be a Buckmark in my cabinet soon.
