I finally got around to mounting the scope and fitting the rifle with sling studs and a sling. This rifle was built for my wife at her behest (she loves my Scout rifle).

So I had a little time to handload/shoot it today. I've used the same load for years in my other Scout so I thought it'd be a good starting point. Turns out it was also a good finishing point! Only tried two loads:

After shooting the final and smallest group, I moved it left 1/2" and up 1/2". This rifle will very likely get blooded by the wife before the end of the year. She's very anxious to try it on deer.

It looks nice! What range were your targets at? Did you shoot it offhand?

Thanks! The targets were at 100 yds. I was shooting from the bench as I was working on load development, albeit a brief development, and sighting the rifle in for deer season.
