It's really quite simple math ; Some calibers produce more energy than others dependent upon weight and velocity . Also bullets must be of the same general design . HP verses FMJ isn't a valid comparison ,as the energy is dissipated with fragmentation of many bullet designs which aren't FMJ or Solids .
What do you think that bullet would do to drywall and a stud inside a house , I know I've used them and they exit exterior walls with plaster . That's all I've got to say ,other than :
Try this with a 9mm carbine at 200 Yd. or pistol and video the results .
