I don't think this personality type is unique to the shooting sports, you'll see them anywhere if you look long enough (the nastiest ones are busying themselves in politics and law enforcement).
Nope. Little league.

If you HAVE to worry about not only people shooting at you, but more than once, break out the trauma plates!
The private range I used to be a member of in northwest Florida was a fantastic place to shoot, but if you went on a weekday or at certain times of the day it was not uncommon to be the only one there. They had cell phone coverage, at least, but it was ISOLATED.One of our own THR members was recently murdered at a range by some bandits, so this is not a hypothetical concern. If you HAVE to worry about not only people shooting at you, but more than once, break out the trauma plates!
At our range, where I'm sometimes a range marshal, the rules are that ALL guns be unloaded with actions open behind the firing line when a cease-fire is called.
so Mr. Bigmouth slammed all his gear into his range bag and stomped off to his car...
This is true. Sometimes, there's a brawl... between the parents, naturally.Nope. Little league.
