CA: Bay Area Shoot Late June/Early July

Does anyone know how wide the shooting bench is on the tin can range? I need 28" for my mount that holds to 30 cal ammo cans one holds the linked ammo and the other catches the links.

Sure would like to bring my 1919 out to the tin can range.
 
If any of you are free sat. july 2nd, there is going to be a little calguns shindig at chabot, which I and some friends will be attending, y'all are definately invited.

I've had it with Los Altos Rod and Gun Club. Just got off the phone with them and have been informed that my belt fed 1919 would not be allowed up there. First they ban .50 BMG's and now this what's next?

It is their range and they have the right to set the rules, I'll just spend my money at Metcalf.

Seriously, what does everyone think? 'Would be nice to plan ahead for it.
I like the 9th at Los Altos... dunno about other people though. Should we take a poll or something?

Kids these days.. no respect for thoughtful deliberations; it's always with the snap decision. I blame MTV and all that Hippity Hop music.

Ok so we have a date: July 9th.

So now we just need a range; Los Altos or Chabot. And in the ultimate display of irony I vote either one. I like Los Alos but I haven't been to Chabot in a really long time and wouldn't mind seeing it.

So there. Let the democratic process begin.
 
Ok recived a email from los altos range stating they will allow my 1919 up there. I'm on for the 9th.

Bay Profs is doing their 'instructor development class' at target masters, I'd like to be there for that...any chance we could push the los altos shoot to the sunday july 10th?

I'm up for either the 9th or the 10th, but might I put it out there that we could change the weekend if it would work out for people better...
 
D'oh! I want to make this but I have tix for the SF-STL game on the 9th. If you guys agree to make it the 10th or the following week I'm definitely in.

And, if my vote counts, I vote for Chabot. But will go to Los Altos since I've never been there.

Yo. I'll be there, the 9th. Are we doing food? If so, I should call Los Altos and make sure they're ok with the BBQ.
 
I'm in, and I'll call Los Altos tomorrow if no one else does.

Count me for paper plates and plastic knifey spoony things. Probably waster and sodas in the cooler and some stuff for the 'que. I've still got lighter fluid and stuff from the last gig so I'll lug those slong as well.

ARs and AKs for everyone. Any new shooters coming? Lemme know and I'll bring a .22 rifle and pistol.

ClonaKilty & CleverName; we'll take and post a lot of pictures so you can see what you missed; and besides- it's not like we'll never do this again, right?
 
If I CAN go, I'll bring charcol and probably some food.

However, It'll most likely be Friday until I know whether I'm able to attend or not, so don't count on me.
