Can you really justify a .380 over 9mm pocket pistol

Not specific to you, just that I have had guys tell me "I don't shop for pants to fit the gun. I shop for guns to fit my pants." I don't know, I just don't relate to that and, well, sounds like they are slaves to fashion if they're taking an attitude like that.

I find baggy jeans like carpenters or Wrangler Cargos to be comfortable and it's just as hot and humid here as Florida, not as HOT as Aridzona (love that state), but a lot more humid and humidity is miserable. I don't wear shorts, though, but there are cargo shorts, even, if I did. Just that I ride motorcycles a lot, near daily, and I don't ride in shorts. I've always been into motorcycles, well, since I was 13, and motorcycles and shorts don't go together, nor do chicken legs. :D

I used to wade fish in shorts, until I met mister man-o-war once. That ended that.
I know it's hot and humid where you live, but not quite as hot as it is here. It was 115 degrees here yesterday and believe me at 115 degrees I couldn't care less about fashion.

I've ridden my motorcycle on several jaunts out to Aridzona. Trust me, I know the heat. I've spent even more time in West Texas and New Mexico. At 75 mph on the back of the bike, it's like sitting in a blast furnace. What I HAVE found is that a light riding jacket, like my Brosh armored, vented jacket, I'm actually cooler because my skin is not directly exposed to the sun/wind. In town at a stop light, of course, it gets warm. One thing that's nice, though, is that out there, I can dump water on my jacket and the evaporation actually works. Here, there is no respite from the heat, water just makes you wet and hot. No need to dump water, anyway, as you're already soaked from sweat.

One thing I like out there, though, wanna escape the heat? Just take a ride up the very fun Mt. Lemmon road to the top for lunch (if the restaurant hasn't burned down since last I was there), or any of the similar roads and mountain ranges around the state.. It's super at high altitude, 80s, cool, no humidity. The highest thing around here is the cell towers.

I think if I moved there, i'd move to Globe, maybe, or Flagstaff. But, then, there's winter. I think I could handle snow, though. Sorta fun the 3 times in my 57 years it's snowed and stuck down here. :D

I have a pretty good collection of pocket pistols including a snubbie and a PM9 and still more often than not I carry a Micro DE or P-3AT.

Fortunately I have never had to fire a weapon to defend myself, but I have in a few instances had to make it clear I was armed and that was enough to end what might have been a bad situation.

75! Your just a kid!

Prescott is probably the best all around climate in Arizona.

Well, you know, the only time I've ever had to pull my weapon, it was a .25ACP. This was 30 years ago in Galveston at 12 noon. The guy was armed with a knife and he decided he'd had enough and ran. Weren't the little .380s back then, nor the little 9s to choose from and it was illegal to carry. I did, anyway, and that day I was glad I had SOMEthing.

The thought occured to me, hell, Arizona is an open carry state and you can NOW carry concealed without a license. What does it matter if the gun prints with rules like THAT? Hell, I'd strap on my Ruger .45 Colt Blackhawk and strut down to the restaurant, or maybe my Pietta .44 cal '51 Navy just for the cool factor. :D Hey, the lack of humidity, I wouldn't ever have to unload that Navy, either. :D
