During the first Banic in 08-09. I read a interview with a Executive with a major ammo manufacturing company (I sorry 4 years ago is too long for me to remember which one) about which cartridge was in the most demand. He said it was the .380 which surprised them.
My thought at the time was if the increase in sales was due to folks buying new .380 handguns or buying ammo for a gun they have owned and had not shot for years.
Also the increased sales does not mean more folks at the time were packing 380's as I'm sure many stand guard for H.D.
