So for 223 rem a heavier bullet would work better with this powder?

Maybe double check the powder weight with a different device or beam scale.

have checked the powder weight on 3 scales. The velocity i am getting now is more along the lines of what i was thinking. i believe given the limited data on bullet type i just had to up the charge.
