My wonderful wife gave me a Master F1 Shooting Chrony for Christmas, so I've been out having fun with .22s this afternoon. (Just to show she comes from good stock, her mother gave me a Frankford Arnsenal electronic digital caliper.)
Mother Nature cooperated by having it be overcast at first, then sunny, then overcast again, for a variety of test conditions. The main lesson I learned this afternoon was how much difference there is between a 4" handgun barrel and a 22" rifle barrel, especially in the hotter .22 loads.
I'm looking forward to trying out my .38 and .45 handloads. Maybe I'll get some surprises!
Any suggestions for other fun activities with a new chronograph?
