God's Greatest Gift

It has taken me some time to collect the information I needed for this posting.

The posting by Manwithaplan was almost certainly written by or influenced by Loveland Assistant City Attorney Moses Garcia. He learned about this site a few days earlier. At the same time of Manwithaplan’s posting I received an email identical to the gibberish posted by TallPine on December 24, 2007.

The police reports referred to by Manwithaplan all list the name Richard E. Peterson his physical description, 215 lbs, blue eyes and his driver’s license and SS numbers, home address and phone numbers. None of that information is mine. My name is Richard N. Petersen, 180 lbs, brown eyes.

I tracked down information related to these reports and attempted to contact two individuals who were said to be responsible for it, Kathy Forest and Kass Schreiber. I was not allowed to speak with Schreiber, however Forest agreed to talk. When I arrived I was greeted by Douglas Hirst, Director of Larimer Center for Mental Health. He would not allow me to speak with Forest. When Hirst learned of my reason for wanting to talk with her and the involvement of the Loveland Police he informed me that a part of his official duties was to develop recruiting, screening and training programs for the law enforcement agencies in Larimer County. He told me it was his professional opinion that most of the people working as law enforcement officers in those agencies were “potentially dangerous border line schizophrenics” and cautioned me regarding my complaints about their illegal activities. I recorded that conversation.

Hirst’s comments mirror those of Reporter Herald Managing Editor Christine Kapperman who warned me that the LPD like to retaliate.

The postings by TallPine and the email I received point to that kind of immature or possibly unstable mind.

Court records show that a person with the name Richard Peterson was a patient at a Colorado hospital and Judge David Cole ordered his release, stating in that order that his research showed that nobody had ever been held in such blatant violation of Colorado Law and that Peterson could never again be held on such allegations as were made in that case.

On December 3, 2008 the Loveland City Attorney filed a motion in Larimer County court which states, “Petersen has not been convicted of a felony, adjudicated a mental defective or committed within the meaning of the Gun Control Act, 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) and its interpretive regulation 27 CFR § 478.11 and is, therefore, outside the scope of the federal law that prohibits the possession of firearms by certain individuals.” I have never been diagnosed or treated for any type of mental illness.

I had asked my US Senator Ken Salazar to intervene on my behalf by requesting an investigation into the theft of my guns. Salazar is a former Colorado Attorney General and is intimately familiar with the procedures for requesting criminal investigations at a state and federal level. He knew that sending my information directly the Attorney General would not result in any action. If Salazar was sincere he would have sent the request to the Governor or the FBI.

The Colorado Attorney General told me they have no jurisdiction over this matter. When I asked them to forward Salazar’s request to an agency that does the AG stopped talking.

In 1999 I had two conversations with a prominent Denver businessman M. Brusse. In those talks he told me that he thought the greatest gift God could give a man was the ability to lie to others and to retain the respect of those he had lied to.

Senator Salazar knew he was being dishonest with me and when asked the simple question about his sincerity he refused to answer. Take a good hard look at what has happened to this country. Some people, like Senator Ken Salazar, see it as “God’s Greatest Gift” being utilized.

The police reports I have posted speak for themselves.
