Concealed Carry on Campus- Skeleton Policy

I don't think VERN has ever been in a Dorm Room before I've seen some Gun Safes that are bigger than some dorm rooms LOL....

No person shall carry while alcohol is being served or consumed nor shall firearm be with in a dorm room while alcohol is being served or consumed

Some college students Have a problem with alcolhol.
This should be a no tolerance issue, Imedeate dismisal

I think the rest of what every body has said so far is good,
Dont get me wrong here, I like a cold one now and again,
Its just Ive seen some drunken stupers in my time..

I would add that NO professor/faculty member shall have the power to prohibit a students who has a CHL (and whatever university approval/permits that this thread came up with) from carrying anywhere on campus including classrooms or faculty offices.

It would do no good to have a campus carry policy and have every professor put a "NO GUNS" or you get an F in my class sign up.

MY REVISED FIXED POLICY:
The personal possession of firearms in all campus buildings and on all campus property is strictly prohibited. This prohibition applies to all students and employees. This prohibition does not apply to authorized security, law enforcement personnel, or individuals with valid state issued conceal handgun permits.

It's concealed Carry. The Professor shouldn't even KNOW you have a gun.
