They had lied to me about the history of gun control, never mentioning how it was used by Jim Crow-era southern governments to disarm blacks and make them easy prey for the Ku Klux Klan. All of it was a pack of lies. "
is where I suggest you add some meat. Tell us the lies in detail and how and what you learned about them. The Jim Crow comment needs some companionship here.
