I have been using one of these for over a year and it is great for carry in hot weather, and any time. The vertical zippered pocket will contain a medium/small pistol with easy access. When I ride my motorcycle, I rest it on my lap on the tank and I can easily access it while riding if the situation ever comes up, I hope not. Seeing there has been some discussion on "man purses" for carry, I thought I would put in my two cents worth. I picked mine up at a gun show for 20 bucks. The front pocket holds my wallet, the phone pocket can hold a mag, and two slim pockets can hold a notepad and pen. SWMBO uses one for her carry too.......chris3
