I am interested in getting into cowboy mounted shooting competition,so I went to one saturday. It was interesting and a lot of fun to watch.I have to buy some gear to get started.here is pictures of what goes on.All ages were involved in shooting from 5 yr olds to a woman who was 76 they call her Granny oakley. and she was fast and didn't miss a shot. There were a lot of women shooters.

I can shoot off of 2 of my horses now they use ear plugs now it helps out and I wouldn't want to hurt my horses hearing anyway.

Got horse earplugs?

Think about it.....would you do that to your kids??

Guess bein' an old cowboy, I got a bigger appreciation of them hayburnin' broomtails than some......:D

I hope they supply the horses with hearing protection...

PS: Where might I find "Suburban Mounted Shooting"? I'd love driving around a mock-up nasty neighborhood shooting at BG targets and mock-up getaway vehicles...

Looks interesting, but I had to give up on anything that doesn't have four wheels quite a while ago. Wouldn't mind seeing an event, though:
