There have been some small improvements in WaCo. Back at the end of January, beginning of February, they agreed to stop stockpiling fingerprints. They send them in weekly now. They've also stopped the notarized letter requirements and assigned personnel to do them and you don't have to make those stupid fingerprinting appointments anymore. Those going through in the past 3 months are better, but some people have waited 8 months already. Too long!
I'm convinced SoS issue is the only way to go with this. Tuscola County wants a refresher certification, Kent wants you to get a doctor to say you aren't insane and WaCo wants to delay you to death.
An SoS bill is going to be introduced shortly. Please, make sure you contact your Senator/Rep and tell them we need to get this through this year. There's going to be some opposition from counties that don't want to give up the funding and the gun boards.
