Trump alienated a lot of people during his campaign - if anything, his focus was on being as divisive as possible. It worked well when he only had to win primary elections, being voted on mostly by hardcore Republicans sick of all the RINOs the party has been trotting out.
Winning a general election is a different game. Trump doesn't have any mass appeal and will lose any kind of minority vote you care to name. Not to mention that the media, who are the real kingmakers in this process, are firmly in Hilary's camp. Trump will carry the hard-line Republican states but I expect him to lose big everywhere else.
I expect a banic to hit around October when the damning poll numbers start coming out. As soon as some kind of sound bite comes out from Hilary about gun control ("I respect the Second Amendment, but I also believe we need to keep our children safe from the weapons of war on our streets"), we'll kick off Firearmageddon 2017.
I'm probably going to buy a Del-Ton this summer. I'm not an AR guy, but I might as well get one while they're still on the shelves and dirt cheap. At the worst case, I could probably flip it for a K this Christmas.
