I have to disagree with you on that. Our founding fathers were pretty clear:

I feel that 'God-given' rights are simply rights that are claimed by people and then are considered to be non-negotiable... .

Just because some people are not permitted to enjoy a right by an oppressive government, does not mean the right does not exist. There are far too many here in America in just that situation as regards 2A.

Im pretty much done listening to ANYTHING any politicians say and trying to figure out whats sincere and what is not. Waste of mental energy. Basically done voting as well other than my local Sheriff (who is solid and consistent). Last politician I voted for just walked away when an entire election was stolen. So Im done with it. None of these people have any sort of backbone worth supporting and they are anything but leaders that care about normal people outside of how they can scam them or mess with every day Americans heads.

As for Tulsi kicking the hornets nest again... I could care less. Maybe she has a book coming out or something (not interested).

No such thing as "natural rights." Every single right, including the right of armed self defense, was wrested by the people from their reluctant rulers. As for the Declaration of Independence, it was a consummate work of propaganda, perfect for the times. It has no legal standing at all. In the original draft, the phrase was "life, liberty, and property." "Property" was changed to the vaguer "pursuit of happiness" because, you know, "property" included property in slaves. That would have created a contradiction -- promising "liberty" and yet enshrining a right to deprive others of their liberty.

Tulsi is the real deal to try and end division. A veteran that served two tours in Iraq, surfs, is articulate and thoughtful and torched the Democratic Party when she left. She caused a stir in 2016 while serving in the DNC by supporting Bernie and not Hillary.

Is she pro 2nd amendment? Of course. She’s been saying she’s pro-constitution the entire time she’s been in politics. Had she pulled out the Democratic nomination in 2020, would have voted Democrat for the first time in decades.

Tulsi burned her Democratic bridges during the primary debates. Now she’s realized the grift pays better on the other side. Since she no longer has to vote on bills she’s free to pander to whomever is in a better position to sign the checks.

I don’t see how a “pro 2A” politician votes against CC Reciprocity. Her other 2A record is mixed, but voting against legal citizens carrying nationwide is far from being a Pro Constitutional politician
