I believe I like the gun, but it's really hard to load this thing. There's just so little there to grab onto to cycle it and every time I do it I grimace a little. Granted, we're not talking about a deal-breaker here, but there's certainly a minor downside to this rail design. (Yeah, there's plenty of upside too.)
Anyway, took it to the range for the first time yesterday and it functioned flawlessly. I ccw'd it today and it dug into my love handles pretty good. I'll need a holster that covers the slide on the interior. I never really identified that as an advantage of my glocks or other flat-sided autos before.
The guy at the gun store mentioned the P-01 was spec-ed for NATO ammo which would explain a stiffer spring. It's certainly a nice piece.
