CZ plans to open US factory this year

P-10 series to begin with, no telling what else they may build here, like some of the pistol models that were impossible to import due to GCA 68 point rules. I never liked striker fired pistols, then I picked up a P-10C. Now I have two of them, outstanding sidearms. We'll see what comes out of Kansas City next. ;)

Whatever they come up with it will be more exciting than a "new" Glock offering. I mean since they put rail on their guns the only thing truly exciting has been long slide 10mm.

I was at a range in the center of Prague yesterday. Their loaner with 40.000 rds went back to factory for testing. Apparently P10 will have some minor tweaks done to its guts in order to secure better endurance. My guess is that the US factory will start churning already the improved version.

I really wonder if some people in this thread realize that the P-10 has been on the market for nearly two years now.... some of the comments seem to read like the poster thinks they aren't already out in the world, well proven and well received.

armoredman/Snajdarek:
Tried out a buddy's P10 today, along with his Walther PPQ. I've never owned any striker-fired gun.

Equally enjoyed both guns, maybe thirty rounds tried in each.
But based on my superb CZ 75D "PCR" and what I always (no exceptions) read about all of the other CZ products--both handguns and rifles--I could imagine choosing the P10 over the PPQ.

ClickClickD'oh: two years is longer than I would have thought. That's an excellent indication of thorough evaluation and improvements.
Handguns didn't really "grab me" on a full-time basis until last November, at age 62.

This item proved to me not to trust initial model testers on the net. They described miriculous trigger and reset. After examining couple of samples my comment was this is all there is? It certainly didn't convince me to replace my old Glock with this new offering.
