cz sp01 or glock 19

I've not been able to shoot any CZ's, but I have owned and shot Glock 19s. I like them and they fit/work for me. That's why I recommend that people at least try them. If you try them and they work for you, then good. If they don't work for you, they there are plenty other pistols to try.

as you all know im a novice... i shot a beretta 9mm and a kimber .45/// for some reason i liked the weight of the kimber better the weight made me feel more comfortable... i went to cz usa website and the msrp is 595 then at buds gun shop its 498.. or 468.. now... is that a 2006 model? and say i ordered from buds.. it would be 30 for shipping and what do dealers usually charge for them to receive it /do paperwork and stuff?? when im ready to buy im going to call ever gun dealer here and go from there. but thanks to all of you who replied to my thread thanks so much ive made up my mind

good choice! usually an FFL, the guy at the gun shop you will send your CZ to, will charge around $25 for the transfer. some can get high like 40, so just call and ask what their FFL transfer fee is. the CZ SP-01 is my first gun too, and the guys over at czforum have been very helpful.
