I saw some Rugers earlier so I had to post my carry piece. SP101 .357/.38 I replaced the plastic inserts with some elk. I use various holster depending on conditions so I did'nt photograph them.
Stepped up to Evan carry, primary CZ-p01 strong side, HBE Specialty Leatherworks COMIII IWB, great and comfortable rig. Then BUG, CZ-PCR, cavalry style left side, Hazel leather crossdraw rig, anothwer well made peice of leather. Two spare mags carried left side that I can't seem to do without, plus Leatherman,(Standard), and Surefire G2 sometimes, (Not pictured).
This is my girlfriend's newest "get off me!" It just arrived. Mechanically, it's like new. If anyone has intact mother of pearl grips for sale, PM me. There's a refinishing in its future, too.
Beretta 9000s in a pancake holster, kydex spare mag holder; both open top. Been carrying this gun for a couple years now, never had any problems with it.
And I just picked this up for my birthday last month. It's a taurus 85ul riding in the same pancake holster as the 9000s, two speedloaders. Really liking the weight, or lack thereof, of this revolver.
Both loaded with standard pressure federal hydra-shoks. I also carry an assisted opening buck knife, always get the 'you know switchblades are illegal right' speech anytime someone sees me use it.
Old School you say?
This old Army Special
gets carried in this Simply Rugged holster quite often. My 19-4 also fits that holster nicely too, but the Army Special sees more time in it.
You can bet your last dollar that this one has been "rode hard and put up wet".
A tad over 2 years old, carried all day every day by an OTR truck driver (flatbed driver that is...that's a hard life for a pistol), I play hard when I train, 1 handed slide racks on whatever is available, drop it like a hot potato when its empty and I'm going for my BUG, I've carried it putting up hay, wading across rivers, riding horses, I've killed deer with it, etc... It has fired somewhere north of 12,000 rounds and runs like a Swiss watch.
It may not be pretty anymore...but its mine and I know it will take whatever life throws at me.
My Baer stainless Stinger...and a 1/2 worn out VM II holster
I carry the gun usually with 9 in the mag and 1 in the chamber, Ive carried it before with 10+1, but once or twice at the range its not wanted to cycle like this, so I figure just do what it likes
Judging by the wear on the blueing, the old Colt has clearly seen a lot of holster time since it was new in 1926. It's my most natural "pointer", and also my favorite carry piece. Also a fine shooter, with a very nice double action trigger.
It has what appears to be a badge number stamped into the bottom of the grip frame, and given the wear on it, I figure it was probably a police firearm early on in life.
