saw some references on RFC about walmart's price on mini mags was now close to $11. stopped by a local WM today to check the price. $10.87. Glad I stocked up like I did. ;)

I haven't stepped foot into a Walmart since the CEO publicly virtue-signaled about his decision to remove military and pistol caliber ammo from their shelves. It was at that moment that they fired me as a customer. But yes, the price of Mini-Mags, while it has been coming back in stock and has fallen, is not to pre-plandemic levels. It's $11.99 per 100 right now on CCI's website.

I still shop at Walmart. I dont have to agree with their political policies to save money, that can then be put towards ammo. I only buy things there I can't get cheaper elsewhere.

The last mini mags I bought was I think 12 from academy. I have a stash I paid 10 for, which was high at the time, 5 years ago.

In the spring I got some 500 pack Aguila like that from academy and they were $40

As far as I know by visiting and from others there has ben zero ammo of any kind at the local WM in Ellsworth ME since about DEC 2019. I wander through every so often just to look at the still empty shelves, never purchase anything else when there though. There are empty ammo shelves and half a dozen cheap rifles and a shotgun or two but that has been it since then. Guess we are at the wrong end of the supply chain LOL.

How much?
Sportsman’s warehouse near me had a shelf full of it yesterday for 3.99/50.

funny that jcooperfan1911 mentioned “Mexican mini mags” as that’s exactly how I look at them. They shoot just like mini mags in my guns.

WM*** 's around here have the shotshell shelves filled with various kettlebells, workout stuff. SOME ammo in the case, unpriced. Try finding an associate, then, that associate finding someone with keys. To find out that the MILITARY CARTRIDGE (evil! scary!) 7.62X51 is $3-5 higher then online...

EASIEST to order your 22LR if you are looking for CCI right off the website IMHO. Plus, no creature feature express; in various stages of dress; and hygiene all a mess.

I got a bunch of mini mags for $7-$8 a box last winter during pretty much full swing shortage. I'll be interested to see what they are next time I check.....

22 & hunting shells are about the only ammo I ever see at Wal Marts here anymore. Anyone seeing 40 S&W or 9mm at any Wal Marts?

You would not expect to see any 9mm or 40sw at Walmart since the company declared it would stop selling all handgun and 'assault weapon' ammunition in its stores back in 2019 (Alaska was given an exception). So maybe if they changed their minds...
