The price of all precious metals are rising to extremes and no end in sight. Brass isnt exempt from the increases (not to mention transportation fuel costs and the inflation rate).

Ran down to my local last night, but just missed the 10:00 deadline. 6 boxes of Blazer brass just sitting there behind the glass, I couldn't buy.

Stop in this evening, they're $12.50.

Sigh.

Reloaders are affected too.

Lasercast LSWC in my caliber/size went from $51/1000 to $93/1000.

Fortunately, I heard the rumors before hand and listened. I picked up 24,000 at the lower price.

Glad I did.

Have any contributors and or reloaders looked at PRIMER PRICES lately? In spring-summer of 2006, a sleeve (5000) Winchester Large or Small Pistol Primers went for $73. Spring 2007, same items were slightly over $100. Last I had heard, same merchandise, fall 2007 was about $125 sleeve. Interesting.
