This guy, a self proclaimed expert, negligently discharged a firearm in a roomful of kids!

As a certified gun nut myself, I still can find no room in my heart for anything but ridicule for this government employee.

I am disheartened that you do not hold our "protectors" to a higher standard.

I'd be satisfied with an equal standard.

Even though the G22 has recently had the extractor problem, thats true but... even being complacent I dont think any of us would have out finger in the trigger guard, as most of us were always taught on the side of the frame. Not only that.... but as I was always taught to clear the weapon in a "clearing barrel" and having a spoter (also certified in the knowlege of the weapon) viewing the extraction of the round, and visible chamber inspection.:uhoh:

I understand that this guy is now suing the DEA for allowing the video out on the net and so destroying his ability to work under cover and so destroying his career. Probably asking for a billion dollars, that being what his sorry contribution to our society would have been worth, of course. Talk about balls.

The story is that the video was taken by a parent with a personal video camera, and the tape given to the DEA on the scene, but when the DEA returned the tape to the parent the shooting section had been erased. So the lawsuit theory is that the DEA had the ONLY copy of the shooting video, and by letting it get out they violated the moron's civil rights as well as internal regulations on handling personnel matters.
