Man, can I identify with this:
"And of course I think my method is the best, otherwise I'd do something different. This is the same answer I give my wife when she says I think I am alway right. If I knew I was wrong, wouldn't I change my mind? I am open for other suggestions. Jeez, that's why I asked for other opinions from you all."
I think your concerns are valid, given our litigious and increasingly liberal society. I think the idea of attempting to disable or lock the firearm in the vehicle is a futile act given your stated goals. If they steal your car, they've got an indefinate period of time to find missing parts or bust open a lock box or cut a gun lock. If they break in and steal your firearm and/or container, the same situation is present. In my opinion, you've got to first decide how important and how valid your concerns are in your particular jurisdiction. And second, realize that you really only have two choices here: leave your loaded weapon locked in the car or don't carry it on trips to destinations that do not allow concealed carry. That's a ****ty decision to have to make--risk lawsuit and/or a liberal DA's office (your life, in essence) v. risk your life by forfeiture of your ability and right to defend yourself with deadly force. Yeah it sucks, but in my opinion, that's the choice you've got to make.
