lol anyone who actually believes that race doesnt play a part in a lot of violent crimes is a fool. Look up violent crimes and the race of the perp. more than half of the time a member of the african american community is at fault. Thats a community that only makes up 11% of the total population of the united states. You can only blame racist courts and police to a certain point and then you have to begin to take responsibility as a race. This entire country is so damned afraid to say the truth.
The truth is that many african americans were given poor role models (if any) were lacking good family values and are more prone to violence. There are COUNTLESS studies proving the FACT that african americans are more prone to the "fight" than the "flight" option. People are different, and race is not simply defined by the color of the skin. You can tell someones race by his bones as well. If the bones are different then is it not possible that the mental makeup is as well? Why do you think the suburbs with mainly white people is close to violent crime free, where areas with high african american concentrations is high in violent crime?
its been said to look outside the united states... ok. name one african american majority country that is not "third world country" status.
Don't even try and blame slavery, thats a cop-out. whites were the first slaves (look it up) and most white people bounced back quite well i think.
This worlds problem is that everyone either wants to BLAME race or completely ignore it. Maybe we need to recognize our differences and realize that people are different and address things from there. Why do you think that successful african americans are often insulted by their old friends? their families even? (dont tell me it doesnt happen i have a lot of friends who have gone through this)
Look at who african americans have as their role models... rappers that talk about shooting people, basketball players that rape girls, boxers that rape and the list goes on. The problem is that the WRONG people are idolized. How many brave cops, firemen, security guards (dont diss a security guard many of them have saved lives) are there out there? How many amazing african american, proud african american men are there out there... and they are not idolized, they are not put onto the news.
there are many people to blame but i honestly think a large part of it goes with the parents and the media.
