MDig, The cocobolo grips you saw WILL fit on an FM just fine, and provide a very distinctive touch to your pistol. My personal shooter is an FM frame with an FN slide, wearing some Spegel thin grips in cocobolo.
Tried a new technique for updating the roster. Blatantly used a sugestion from the 336 club. This is by the number of posts no particular rank other than that. Apologies in advance if someone got left out.
Thanks for the replies about the new grips I am thinking about.

Rangegod: I'm envious of that collection of beautiful HPs.
I only have this one. It has had a trigger job, a C&S hammer installed, the mag safety removed, and works really well for IDPA competition.
hey vanilla gorilla i am digging that beast of yours. let me ask a question to you guys. i know we are in the autoloaders section not the "help me do this to my gun section" but is there or can i add a ambi-safety to my feg pictured earlier? it only has the right hand safety and i am of course a lefty. (not in the political sense though) . anyway any info would be great thanks.
I purchased a used FM HiPower, M90, S/N 388XXX, today for $350.00 before taxes. This is my first HiPower. With Mr. Camp's online instructions, I was able to take it apart and give it a good cleaning. It came with the box and (1) ten round magazine, plus instruction booklet. It does not look like it has been fired much. It did need a good cleaning though. It appeared the previous owner fired it and then placed it into a sock drawer without cleaning it. There was curd everywere, in the grip screws, the seams where the grips meet the frame. But it cleaned up nice. I hope at the range tomorrow it shoots as good as I have been reading about.
