You mean you haven't head about the popularity of side locks for drive-by's

Not only is the musket nearly five feet long, but I've got the 16" socket bayonet mounted on it. Very Impressive.

I'd love to see someone attempt a drive-by with that!

I'd post a picture, but it's too long for my little camara.

They're not actually hanging on the wall, but they are sitting on the closet shelf in various cases/gun-socks or in the range bag. Now if my 2 cats start shooting; well, then I'll lock them up. :D
Yep, it's great not having tri-cycle motors. :)

NO.

If I needed one when seconds count... I sure as H would not want to have to run to my locked safe to get one out.

I keep them out only becasue I dont have a safe yet. That will change when our baby is born this fall though.

I keep one arm out for home defense. If I have to grab a powder horn and ball for the musket in my safe, I've bigger problems than a dial combination.

I see no reason to lock any of mine up when I am home.

Both my wife and I are proficient and safe. At this time, we have no children.

When I LEAVE the house, all remaining firearms are locked in a safe. Those not in the safe go with my wife or me.

I have 3 handuns and i keep 1 on me 1 beside my bed and the other in the top of my closet. You never know when or where danger might strike lol

I keep my SD pistol with me and on the bedside table at night, and a 12ga by the back door. I have no children and virtually no visitors (and mom knows not to touch), so my safe is more to prevent burglary than for safety.

Long guns and target pistols are in the basement in an RSC bolted to the wall and the floor.

My Sig and J-Frame (carry guns) stay loaded in a lock box that is bolted to the side of my bedside dresser which is physically touching my bed. One key is on my keyring and the other is around my neck 24/7.
