Cartridge guns? Probably the Mossberg 500 Field Combo for hunting. I needed my own 12 ga. (with 28" Modified barrel and 24" smooth rifle-sights slug barrel) and to return the bolt-action 20 ga. I'd borrowed from said future Brother-in-Law (Dad wasn't much of an outdoorsman or pro-gun, especially since he served). The 10/22 wasn't far behind.
