Actually I (almost) did, once. Quoted Mark Twain, as to their being "...un-American, un-English, ... completely irregular..., in fact, French!" Don't know what came over me to make me say something like that to a couple of skinhead mesomorphs twice my size and half my age, with badges. I wasn't prudent, that's for sure; I suppose I was just so hoppin' mad at their arrogance , their implied insults to my honor, their lies and unjust accusations that I just sorta lost it.
No, I'm not a saint, just yr average sinner, but I do resent people abusing their sovereign immunity to pick on the small and the weak. I do try very hard always to be formally polite to LEOs, for the very reason that I DON'T like them very much , while recognizing our need for them in the present degenerate state of society.
