As far as I'm concerned, if dealdy force is justified, the tool used matters not a whit.
As far as the CT law goes (Todd A's post) I don't know how anyone could use any weapon for SD and not use it aggressivley... codifying such a thing (the assumption that the use of a MG is both offensive and aggressive) defies logic.
And I feel such a law is unconstitutional. The law cannot make assumptions. I disagree with prima facie evidence in general.
Prima Facie is the big reason that we have NFA 1934.
