Snowdog, what kind of battery life do you get from the Xeno E03 V3 light? Does it flicker or get really dim when the battery starts to get low?
Thanks!

I believe they flicker, but I have yet to allow a battery to get that low. If I use the light for more than a few minutes, I pop in a fresh one and recharge the one I just removed. I have read that they blink (like my Inova does) before crapping out, but I can't say for certain... yet.

From what gather, I should expect a smidgen over half an hour on high and 2 hours on low (low still being brighter than my Inova) with the 14500 battery. With alkaline or NiMH rechargeable batteries, the output is less but with a greater burn time.

I bought one for my wife for Christmas as a stocking gift. Her MiniMag that she's had for ages was in need of a new bulb and rather than purchase that, I opted to find something that was smaller and higher performance. I was so impressed with her Xeno E03 that I bought one for myself a few days later. The clicky is on/off with three soft-click modes, starting on medium to low to high.

I don't know how the Xeno E03 will hold up to heavy use, but the use typical of EDC, I think it's a great light, especially when using the 3.7volt 14500 batteries rather than 1.5volt alkaline or 1.2volt NiMH rechargeables.

One knife will....but where's the fun in that? I use every one I carry...and each one has sentimental value. They are gifts from family. 1 was my first anniversary gift from my wife. The other, a gift from my father (who I only regained contact with 3 years ago after a 20 year absence). I also like options and backups. If I lose one, or have one taken maybe the others will be luckier.
I can understand that. My 14 year old son collects knives. His step-grandpa gives him a nice case knife every Christmas. He is getting a nice collection built.

I personaly could not carry that many though. I have a hard time not losing what I already carry (380, wallet, keys, & 1 knife)

revolving garbage,

Nice stuff, but I'd ditch the G.I. camp knife. Junk. A SAK will serve you much more faithfully. And, why the old '53 rounds?

I can't tell if you are serious about the demo knife or not :scrutiny:

I use that damn knife for everything from opening boxes to taking guns apart, to throwing rope over stuff, to getting into my car every day! (my driver side door handle is broken off, I use the bottle opener to lift the latch). It might not be fancy but it is a good old Camillus and certainly not a POS.

As for the '53 FMJ, its just what I keep in my 3rd spare. I have the 2 seven rounders full of 230gr PDX1 and one 7 rounder full of 185gr Golden sabers also. I shot the rest of the box of that old ammo and it worked perfectly, and at least I know its not loaded to wimpy range specs like modern FMJ.

Heres been my carry lately. The G34 is kinda large but it works. The G26 should be back with new sights soon.
Not pictured is the crossbreed supertuck IWB and my iPhone 4S

Der Stro: it's called the "Biker's Toothpick." bet you could find it with google, I bought one for my girlfriend at a local store called "The Army Barracks," and I liked hers so much I had to get myself one. I use it whenever I'm around someone who wouldn't understand that my balisong is a tool, the kind of people who think gun control is a good idea :banghead::barf: its skinny shape makes it really useful for nitty gritty tasks as well. (and yes I've actually used it as a toothpick on more than one occasion :D)

FivetoSeven: ahh yes, ban the scary things! Like evil black guns flippy knives and anything 'high capacity' :p ;)

Turtlephish: good for CT, I'm quite pleased that they are becoming legal to carry now in several areas :)

Acdodd - I'd try to win her over by putting a few quarters in the jukebox or band's hat, and dancing & bali-flipping with her! :D
(but yeah, bet she can deploy one just as fast or faster than a folding knife)

Not shown are four speed strips, two K-Frame speedloaders, a CRKT tanto folder, aluma-wallet, mil-spec cell phone, notebook, ink pen, and an old EagleTac P20A2 flashlight. If I'm not wearing a jacket or vest, I lose the speedloaders.

No pictures but I carry a single handgun -usually a Smith model 649 or a 2.5" model 66 and one speed loader- Sometimes I will carry a Beretta 92fs with no extra ammo as my daily carry. I always have a simple single blade pocket knife with a sub" blade, a pen light and my cell phone.

Here's mine... A Taurus TCP loaded with HydraShocks, a Kershaw Blur tanto knife, Leatherman Micra, wallet, Bic mini lighter, and Pilot G2 pen. I also always have a fire pager on my belt, and sometimes a portable fire radio. Depending on what I'm doing and the time of year I will also have a Colt Defender in a high ride holster on my belt too. Of course I have cell phone that is usually in my inside coat pocket and several flashlights in my truck... But what I carry in my truck is worthy of a whole other thread :D

Might post a picture soon.

Cell Phone, Wallet, Change, Gum, Notepad, Pen, Penlight, Keychain with Swiss Army Knife and Flashlight, and a 3" Winchester folder. I often have my work nametag on me too.

Also I never leave home (or my room really) without my old Navy baseball cap, olive drab jacket, and hiking boots.

It'll be a few years before I can carry a gun, probably a Glock or M&P, or whatever comparable comes out before then.

I've been carrying this for the passed 3 weeks. More because it's been cold and I'm testing out the belt, I can think of easier things I own to conceal :)

Does anyone carry a "tactical pen"?

If so, what brand tactical pen do you carry?

Thanks .........

Packed extra light today, so I thought I would share.

The gun is my Iver Johnson in .38S&W. My current carry rounds are 115gr LRN (made for 9x19mm) over a case full of Pyrodex.
