I notice no difference between Swiss and Pyrodex but he uses powder puff loads. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Since you have no idea of how Swiss compares to standard black powder and have a "macho" thing about how much powder you use, know this. When doing serious load development when you care about accuracy, almost NO gun, modern or antique or replica, will be at it's most accurate at maximum or "service" load. 45g 3f Swiss is pretty much the same as 55gr 3f Scheutzen or Goex. That's 5g under "service" load. Not a max nor hardly a "powder puff".

I shoot Swiss and Pyrodex. I don't have a macho thing, I have a history thing. FYI I have fired original service loads and they compare closer to Swiss than Goex.
