Dead pigs don't impress me, and they certainly don't convince me that a cartridge is worth anything. Growing up on the farm, I killed many pigs, cows and bulls with a .22lr, usually with one shot to the head. I also killed a big ol' sow one time with a .22 short. By the logic that Extreme Shock is using, a .22lr is therefore a capable and trustworthy round to use on big game. Obviously, we all know thats not true. The founder of Guns and Ammo, Robert Petersen, was reputed to have killed a bear with a .22 Hornet. My dad actually witnessed someone killing a deer with a .22 Hornet. Again, I don't think you will find any respected expert who will conclude that the .22 Hornet is a wonder round. What they will conclude, universally, is that SHOT PLACEMENT is king. A boar could have just as easily been kilt by a plain ol' WWB ball round if the placement is right.
Aside from not buying into that claim, I guess my thing with this is that I just don't understand why someone would buy it as opposed to Hydra-shoks or something. I am forced to agree that only mall ninjas would see the value in this
