Face, Meet Palm!!!

SO, I was in my friend's shop the other day and a customer comes in looking for some ammo for his 270... Out come the standard question, what brand? What weight?... Wait for it... i want the federals with 150 grains of powder. Just one of the many moments that present themselves on an almost daily basis in his shop that has me introducing face to palm... This specific exchange comes up weekly.

How's about we share some face to palm moments y'all...

Another face palm moment a few months ago was from a young guy looking for something with more knockdown than his 270 (for Alabama white tails...)

Skip ahead to the end of the convo when a shop regular recommended the 7mm STW... To this, and this is the gem the young guy left us with...

"I'm not impressed by the STW, it may have more velocity than a 7mm but it aint going no faster."

I ask a guy in a gun shop to hold one of their rental Nighthawk customs. The only 1911 on the wall mind you. And he hands me a Ruger P89...

You know, guys, there's a lot of stupidity out there. I'd be nice to feel that we can escape from some of it here.
