Fantastic Value rifles from CDNN

Has anybody out there owned one or shot one? How does the ICON compare to a Savage, Vanguard, Rem. 700 , browning, Tikka or anything else?

I called CDNN and ordered a ICON field in .243. Price with shipping $570+$15 FFL fee-$150 rebate=$435.

Not a bad price. They still have some more .243's left and a couple of .300 wm left. Didn't ask about any other calibers.

Picked up my icon in .243 at my ffl today. What a steal at the price after rebates!

I picked up my 2nd Icon yesterday. Still haven't shot either yet. Life's been happenin a lot lately, preventing range trips. But now I have an "Original Medium Action" in .243, and a "Classic" in .30-06. Gonna get the rebates from T/C now - $150 for the Icon, and $75 for the Nikon Monarch I got with it.

hotlead, be in touch with me, and I'll let you know...but on paper, they compare favorably / "superior-ly" to those mentioned.

Do you need to buy the Nikon scope at the same time as the rifle to get the scope rebate?
