S&W M&P9--The first "space gun" I have fallen for after owning and trying many.

Taurus pt92 parabellium

TAURUS PT92 PARABELLIUM, the only 9mm I have ever owned. I loved it. My wife left me w/ two children, I had to sell it for food for my kids. I still hold that against her. That was back in 1986. I only changed the grips to a set PACMYERS instead of the slick wooden one back then, no checkering on them. Made alot of difference in the handling and recoil. Very well balanced. I think it held fifteen rounds in the magazine + 1 in the tube. One mean looking black pistol.

I'm partial to my Star....

In a gunshop a while back, I happened upon a Star Mod 30MI for about $235 or so. It looked good and, even though I had never shot one, I bought it. Man, am I impressed!

It's DA/SA, 15+1, 9MM. It's also built very heavily. Since I carry a P3AT or a Makarov, I didn't buy the Star for carry, but for a house or range gun. It's a double tap monster! Due to its mass, recoil is slight and accuracy is wonderful. It never jams on me, the sights are great and it's very easy to strip down. It has magazine and ambi safeties & the most aggressive magazine release I've ever experienced.

Now, I haven't shot every 9MM out there but I've shot a bunch; this one shoots as good as any of 'em & better than most. It's a beast that does everything just as well or better than guns costing much, much more.

I've owned, shot and thanks to extended unemployment sold a Taurus 99, hk usp, beretta 92, SIG 226 and cz-75.

CZ was the best for me personally in terms of ergonomics and smile factor while shooting.

Not 100% sure why, maybe because of the trigger, which was surprisingly good, or the thinner grips and frame, but it WORKED.

M43 Firestar...

I have three 9mm X 19s including a 92FS Baretta. The firestar just feels and balances so much better in the hand and I can hit with it at 25 yards well...

J Lambs...nice looking EMP.

My two are the CZ PCR and the Glock 26. I shoot both with great accuracy and they are both very reliable. Those are two of the main things I look for in a side arm.

best nine

My best is my stainless cz75 tuned by matt Mink.followed by my sig 226 and lastly my Italian 92 fs grey ghost,16 rounds of instant death to the enemy regards Marc

Here I thought I was going to be different by picking the Star Firestar M43 but The Bushmaster beat me to it! Fits small hands nicely and is easy to hit what I'm aiming at.

It was, until recently, the Heckler & Koch P2000 until the mag in the magwell rattle irritated me enough to stop carrying it.

Back to the Glock 19 again. Basic but a workhorse that has an appetite for everything. Certainly no beauty queen, but definitely has the personality.
