I'm not surpirised that glock is in the lead but I would have expected some of the others to get more votes....

So far all my plastic pistols are Berettas. That'll change in the future once I acquire an LCP but for now I'll chalk one up in the Beretta column.

Without a doubt, the Smith & Wesson M&P line is king of the polymer hill for now.

You just can't argue with the fact that the M&P has won over 370 LE department "issue weapon" contracts since it was introduced in 2006. That is more new LE contracts than any other brand and by a wide margin. Most of those contracts have come at the expense of Glock and Sig... Sorry Springfield you didn't have any contracts to lose.

Use to own a Glock 17, wish i'd kept it, but I still have a Ruger p95 and although a lot of people will disagree, I'd have to say the p95. Some say it's butt ugly, too large a grip but strangely enough I have small hands and I shoot it very well, go figure.

I love my XD-40, fits my hand like a glove, points naturally, is very accurate/reliable, and it eats my reloads.:) I love this pistol, I will never part with it.

Fiveseven

Amazingly accurate and the flamage that comes out the barrel when fired is spectacular.

A Walther P99 or a Walther P99C ... pretty darn tough to top either one for day-in and day-out performance, reliability, and accuracy.
