I love them. Mine have been rock solid and highly reliable. For the price I think you can do a lot worse, although they cost a bit more today than years ago (what doesn't).
I feel it is a great tool, with classic ergonomics. If you are searching for a smooth action, nice double action trigger and a great sight picture, you should probably pass on a pa-63. Many have reported that swapping springs makes it a different experience. The 63 does not come super smooth out of the box, but it works well, so long as you are running ball ammo.
If you are looking for an inexpensive Walther PP copy, chambered in 9 mak (or other) made to police/military specifications, it is a great option.
